Chat Support Associate – Work from home
Job Description
First Data is currently seeking a dedicated and resourceful Chat Support Associate to join our team on a part-time basis, working from home in Charlotte, North Carolina. As an Associate Level position, we require a minimum of 4 years of experience in customer service or a related field.
Responsibilities…
1. Provide exceptional customer service through chat support, resolving customer inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner.
2. Utilize critical thinking skills to assess situations and provide appropriate solutions to customers.
3. Manage multiple chat conversations simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
4. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve customer satisfaction and increase efficiency in the chat support process.
5. Utilize project management skills to prioritize tasks and meet established service level agreements.
6. Stay updated on product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information to customers.
7. Proactively identify and escalate complex issues to higher level support teams when necessary.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in customer service or a related field for a minimum of 4 years.
2. Excellent written communication skills and ability to type quickly and accurately.
3. Demonstrated resourcefulness and ability to work independently.
4. Strong critical thinking skills and ability to analyze and solve problems.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
6. Proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with chat support software.
7. High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
